Is an analog console/DAW controller the right thing for your studio?

Interesting little video over on SOS with Producer Teddy Riley.

The thing that caught my eye was his use of the little Focusrite 2802 that’s both an analog console and a DAW control surface.

For home studio users this seems like a great little device for a b or a c studio, or maybe a simple songwriting space that also needs a little routing.

What are you guys using? We’ve been having some great email dialogs with some of you or getting your comments on various posts.

Is a console like this perfect for what you do?
