Happy Thanksgiving! What Are You Thankful For?

We’ve all got a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Whether you’re gearing up for an incredibly filling dinner or a family reunion, chances are you’re going to be recognizing all of the things you’re thankful for.

The list usually starts with important things that are close to you: family, friends, faith, protection, shelter, etc.

These are great things to be thankful for and they should be at the top of your list.

But here’s one more thing that we often overlook when we’re saying our thank-you’s: art.

Not just art, but great art. Great art inspires all of us to continue making our own art, providing happiness, joy for others and ourselves, and a means to express ourselves. We’re incredibly lucky to have such a great way to display our art and the art of others – by recording music.

So after you recognize your gratefulness for all of your material and immaterial possessions, don’t forget to throw “great art” into the pile.

Also, watch the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving special if it’s on in your area and appreciate the amazing music and talent of Vince Guaraldi, composer of the Peanuts music.

Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂

  1. I’m thankful for the great batch of new clients I’ve had this year. Helping local artists discover their true talents and bring them out on a higher level than they were before. Mixing a lot of electronica stuff as well, which has allowed me to go nutty with effects because it’s fun!

Sonic Art is fun to create 🙂
